Netflix’s November 1 arrivals have made this a notably crowded week: 84 titles joined the US service since last Sunday, more than twice last week’s total. The surge is mostly licensed movies, but the new original documentaries give the lineup some sharper edges, especially a three-part look at Matthew Perry.
There’s also a series about Sinaloa Cartel leader El Mayo Zambada, a scrappy pizza-shop comedy, four films by Lee Chang-dong, and the first seasonal batch of Christmas movies. If you’re tracking the month’s schedule, here’s the full list of what’s coming to Netflix in November 2026.
Three picks that stand out
The One About Matthew Perry — Limited Series, Netflix Original
Format: Series
Genre: Documentary | Episodes: 3
Nearly three years after Matthew Perry’s death, Netflix has released its first in-depth documentary about him. Director Mary Robertson, an Emmy winner known for Quiet on Set, builds the three episodes around conversations with Perry’s sister, Mia Perry Bowick, and people who knew and worked with him over the years. The series follows his early comedic promise, his decade on Friends, and the long struggle with addiction he described openly in his memoir. That mix of public success and personal history is the reason this one has landed so hard.
Minimum Wage — Season 1, Netflix Original
Format: Series
Genre: Workplace Comedy | Episodes: 14
Minimum Wage is the week’s oddest bet. It began as American High Shorts, a phone-shot mockumentary series that drew more than 30 million views across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Netflix ordered 28 episodes; the first 14 arrived Monday. At roughly 12½ minutes apiece, they’re easy to get through in one evening.
The setup is a teenage take on The Office: young employees try to keep a failing neighborhood pizzeria open while dealing with school, an erratic boss played by Randall Park, and paychecks that barely cover the trip to work. The concept is deliberately small-scale, which may be its appeal. More on the show here.
Lee Chang-dong Collection: Green Fish, Peppermint Candy, Oasis and Poetry
Format: Movies
Genre: Drama | Language: Korean
For film fans, this is the week’s most valuable licensed addition. Netflix US has added four of Lee Chang-dong’s six features ahead of his new film, Possible Love, arriving Friday: his 1997 debut, Green Fish; the reverse-chronology drama Peppermint Candy; Oasis, which won at Venice and stars Sol Kyung-gu and Moon So-ri; and Poetry, winner of Best Screenplay at Cannes. These are demanding films, but they’re essential viewing. Peppermint Candy remains one of the defining Korean films of its era. We covered the full lineup last month.
More worth a look
A Couple of Lies is a Swedish psychological thriller adapted from Stefan Ahnhem’s novel, starring Emma Appleton, Fares Fares, Frida Gustavsson, and Jakob Oftebro. SCTV: The Greatest Show You’ve Never Heard Of is a bittersweet reunion built around the late Catherine O’Hara, as our review explains. And Collision Course, a Spanish heist thriller, has made the movie top 10 despite receiving a lukewarm 2.5/5 from Florian.
The November 1 movie arrivals also include Reese Witherspoon’s The Good Lie, plus returning titles Whiplash, Stand by Me, Looper, Bridesmaids, and Fury. Christmas season has started early with The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and A Sudden Case of Christmas among the first arrivals.

Netflix’s most watched movies
This ranking reflects Netflix US daily top 10 placements from October 25 to November 1. Titles earn points based on their position each day; the figures come from FlixPatrol.
After two weeks at number one, Animals has been displaced decisively. Surviving Hurricane Otis went from #13 and 10 points last week to #1 with 75, following a surge in word of mouth around the Mexican disaster drama. Gladiator II rose from #9 to #2 with 59 points, while Animals dropped to third with 55, down from 76. Hollywood Dirt also made a strong move, climbing from #14 to #4 after spending a full week on Netflix.
New arrivals made an immediate impression. Champions, the 2023 Woody Harrelson basketball comedy, reached #5 after just one day; Don’t Trust the Couple Upstairs landed at #7; the original Gladiator came in at #8; and Collision Course took the final top 10 spot. Halloween brought back Hubie Halloween at #11 and Halloween Ends at #16, while KPop Demon Hunters returned at #13, perhaps helped by Rumi and Mira costumes.
The sharpest drop belongs to Sacrifice, down from #2 to #14 and from 61 points to 9. Hot Wheels Let’s Race: Attack of the T-Rex fell from #6 to #12. Ice Age remains at #18 with just one point. Eight titles left the chart: Terry McMillan Presents: Preach, Pray, Love, The Fate of the Furious, Doing Life, Norm: The Tale of Norm Macdonald, Hollywood Dirt: Closed Door, Ice Age: Collision Course, UNABOMBER, and Cocaine Bear.

Netflix’s most watched series
Last week’s prediction held up: after a full weekend, Nobody Wants This jumped from #9 with 20 points to #1 with 70, the highest score on either chart. From moved up from #4 to #2 with 58 points, likely benefiting from Netflix’s limited licensing window for its first three seasons during Halloween. Love Is Blind stayed in the top three at #3 with 50 points as its Boston season continues to release weekly.
The Diplomat, tied for first last week, slipped to #5 after viewers had a full season to binge. Below dropped from #3 to #8 in its fourth week. The new entries tell a documentary-heavy story: The One About Matthew Perry debuted at #4 with 48 points, Minimum Wage at #6, and The Fall of El Mayo at #7 after only three days. Instadocs: Jane Doe v. Cornell arrived at #10, putting four newcomers in the top 10.
The New Stanford Prison Experiment climbed from #12 to #9 in its second week, and Raw gained five places to #11. Lupin is the less convincing return: Part 4 reached only #13 with 9 points, well below the performance of Parts 1 through 3 when they launched.
